Resuming The Film

 Hey blog, I'm back! Today my group and I decided to continue with the filming from last time. Today began the filming for the second scene of the film. Luckily the location for this scene was going to be in the same setting as the last scene so none of my groupmates had difficulties arriving. However since this scene did not include everyone from last time, one actor was missing as they did not carry any significance towards the filming. For this scene, there was only me and one other person who had to act anything out. This allowed for the rest of my groupmates who arrived at the location to focus solely on working the camera. Thanks to this, my fellow actor and I were able to concentrate more on the acting portion of today's filming. For this scene, my group mates and I had the idea to do the same thing as last time. This idea was to rehearse the scene and practice a couple of times before doing a final take. It was noticed that by rehearsing the scene last time, my groupmates and I were able to obtain a much more pleasing result. Since this scene was a major part of the film it required me to do much more dialogue and movements than the first scene. Luckily, I was able to quickly memorize the dialogue and the movements despite them looking a little awkward at first. My fellow actor for the scene was also able to efficiently learn the required dialogue and actions. While the both of us did this, my other groupmates also practiced what to do with the camera movements to ensure everything looked smooth. They also took this chance to set up any of the props that we needed.  After everyone felt confident in their abilities with the practice, the official film take began. Once the filming was completed, my groupmates and I decided to view what was recorded. Luckily, everyone was satisfied with the recording after viewing it a couple of times which meant that my groupmates and I did not have to record anything over again. That's it for today.
