Finally Starting the Film

 Hey blog, I'm back! Today my group and I finally started filming the video. Since everyone has a limited amount of time it was decided that the different scenes should be done over a period of multiple days. The filming also had to be done over multiple days since the filming had to be done during a specific time of day that's close to sundown. For today my group and I started filming scene 1 of the video. Luckily this was a very short scene which meant that me and my group didn't have to do too much today. During this scene and the rest of the film I took the role of playing the character, Detective Carter. This required me to have to wear a detective-like attire which I had previously researched. However when it came time to do the filming I was unable to find any ties to wear with my shirt. Fortunately, one of my groupmates had brought an extra tie with them just in case anyone needed it. After everyone arrived at the filming location, my group and I searched for the perfect area to film and began setting up a tripod. Once all of the filming equipment and props had been set up, my groupmates and I decided to quickly rehearse the dialogue for the scene. It was also decided that everyone should practice run of the whole scene. This was done to ensure that the final take was as good as possible. After my groupmates and I were fairly confident in our abilities to remember the script and movements, we began to film the scene. Luckily, because we had rehearsed the scene, everything went smoothly. This also meant that my group and I were able to finish the required filming fairly quick. Because of that, my group had the idea of starting to plan out where the next scene should be filmed. However it was noticed that it was already getting late and the sun would be setting soon so my group and I decided that it would be best to leave this task for another time.
