Planning for my Music Video

Hey blog, hope everything is going great! Today our group is planning out how to do the music video.

Song Title - The song that was decided on was "Heat Waves" by the band Glass Animals.

Props - Throughout the video, a variety of props will be used depending on the scenes. These props will include polaroid pictures, sunglasses, a cell phone, beach towels, and a phone camera stabilizer. However, more props might be used once the filming officially starts.

Costumes - The costumes for the individuals in the video would include streetwear, beach attire, and anything that the actors deem comfortable for the chosen location.

Schedule - In order to have sufficient time for filming, most of the filming will be done on the weekends when most people are available to film. Some of the filming will also be done on days without school since there will be plenty of time available. However, if the weather or other variables affect our schedule of filming, the group will have to meet up on weekdays after school.

Location - For this video, different locations will be used. One of the locations that will be used the most for some scenes will be the beach. Another planned location is the city area near the beach. The park is also an option that might be used during the video. However, depending on factors such as the weather, the locations might have to be altered later on.

Backup Plan - In case our group is unable to complete the original plan for the music video, a backup plan is definitely needed. In the backup plan, my groupmate and I decided to create a list of other school-appropriate songs that we could use to replace our current song. Luckily, we were able to find songs with similar genres. This meant that the songs included in the list could easily use many of the same things from the original plan such as the schedule and locations. However, the props and costumes will have to be different depending on which song from the list is chosen.
